Students recognize that each day comes with its own challenges. Trying to balance classes with sports, clubs, as well as family and social lives, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of that which is called “life." Let’s not forget those special people who, every day, year after year, have dedicated themselves to students' success.
Many would not have been able to achieve many of the goals set for themselves, had it not been for the endless encouragement received from teachers every day.
For freshman, it’s that familiar face the first year of high school that welcomes them into their classroom, makes them feel comfortable, while assuring them that a great year is ahead, and pushing them to reach their fullest potential.
For juniors they are the one person who can understand their problems, and offer them advice, while assuring them that the hard work they are putting forth to secure their own future will soon be rewarded.
And for seniors, they are considered friends, and the people who have known you not just as a student, but as a person since the first day you began high school. They are proud of your successes, and have been there to offer all of the help they could.
So this year, be mindful and thankful of what teachers have done. They don’t do what they do because they are forced to, but because they care enough to take part in helping students' achieve their dreams and fulfill all aspirations.
