For the Creative Soul

No one knows who Banksy really is, and for twenty years he has kept his identity hidden. What is known, however, is that Banksy is a graffiti street artist from London who is determined to make a political statement through his art. His artwork can be found all over the world in almost...
any public place. The artwork he creates causes controversy because some of his images can publicize things he thinks we would liketo forget. His art can also point out changes he thinks should be made in the world. Some of Banksy’s art has been taken down and sold for millions, while others have been painted over and destroyed.
He created Dismaland to showcase their works of art; he called it a “festival of art, amusements and entry-level anarchism.”
The type of art Banksy is best known for is his multi-layer stencil graffiti art. Banksy also does 3D art, like in his newest creation Dismaland. Dismaland is a “bemusement” park created by Banksy that is supposed to be an anti Disneyland, where he throws a dark twist to the Disney fairy tales. This park also includes dozens of other artists’ work on display. He created Dismaland to showcase their works of art; he called it a “festival of art, amusements and entry-level anarchism.” Dismaland is also one of his political works; as Banksy said, “I guess you’d say it’s a theme park whose big theme is - theme parks should have bigger themes.”
